The mild flavor of its blend makes it an attractive option for those who like a less robust, delicate, and aromatic Habano with great elegance and complexity.
The brand highlights historical Vitolas, such as the prestigious Epicure Series with its Vitolas Y, enriched in 2008 with the Special Epicure. A few years ago it was launched the first Petit Robusto de Habanos, with a ring gauge of 50 and shorter than the Robusto, and the pioneering brand was Hoyo de Monterrey.
Since then, it has been one of the preferred Habanos for those who enjoy thick ring gauge formats but have little time to enjoy them. On the other hand, the Le Hoyo series is also distinguished within the brand, which was historically known for its delicate and medium caliber formats.
Le Hoyo de San Juan, the new Vitola that comes to enrich this historical line of the brand, is a highly innovative launch due to two main factors:
It incorporates a new Vitola to the Le Hoyo Series, without any new presentation for decades.
It is a heavy-gauge Vitola that allows Hoyo de Monterrey fans to enrich the range in larger sizes, rarely present in the mark.
Regarding its blend, Le Hoyo de San Juan means a new step forward in the deepening of the elaboration of the combinations of Habanos with characteristics typical of each one of the Cuban Denominations of Origin.
Hoyo de Monterrey's characteristically mild-flavored blend is made exclusively with Seco y Ligero leaves from the San Juan y Martínez* (PDO) Tobacco District.
The Seco and Ligero leave that make up the Ligada de Le Hoyo de San Juan come from San Juan y Martínez* (DOP), which gives it its flavor that the rich soils that San Juan provides.
