The Montecristo Open Junior Cigar was released in 2009 alongside three other sizes as part of the Open Series from Montecristo. This series was invented to accommodate a new generation of cigar smokers – those who enjoyed a more casual smoke.

The Open Junior has the smallest vitola in the series – the Trabucos. It measures at 110mm by a 38 ring gauge.
